A Napoleonic era British 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper's Sabre.
The blade is unmarked, and in overall good condition. The grip has damage underneath the pommel. The scabbard has been painted black.
This was the sabre pattern used by light cavalry regiments (i.e. Light Dragoons) during Waterloo and the Peninsular Wars.
