A Georgian Blue & Gilt Sabre, marked Reddell & Bate, Birmingham. GIIIR cypher visible on blade.

An interesting sabre, possibly for a flank infantry officer.

Condition report: The bluing is quite faded. The stirrup hilt is somewhat bent out of shape and has some movement. The grip is ivory, and has some hairline cracks.
