Georgian 1780s Sidearm, Harvey

A high quality curved Georgian sidearm with beautiful details, marked Harvey for Samuel Harvey of Birmingham.

The hilt is mounted on a faceted backstrap, and completed with a very nice faceted pommel. A very well proportioned sword overall. The original leather scabbard is in one piece, but the leather has become very soft and prone to breaking if unsheathed at the wrong angle.
