A Hussars Officer's Sabre, Marked "Vivat Hussar", Runkel 1786. Possibly 11th Light Dragoons (Later 11th Hussars).
I have included a comparison next to two 1796s in the gallery.
Beautifully engraved with the classic "Vivat Hussar". Manufactured by Runkel in Solingen in 1786. Regimentally marked D 11.
