A Napoleonic era British 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper's Sabre, manufactured by Dawes. Very good, large, fighting blade. Stirrup hilt with original grip without any movement. 

One langet present. Board of Ordnance mark on ricasso.

This was the sabre pattern used by light cavalry regiments (i.e. Light Dragoons) during Waterloo and the Peninsular Wars.
